What's the catch?
There isn't one. I got tired of fitness apps that lock the basics behind a subscription, fill the screen with ads and sell what you eat to advertisers. So I built the one I wanted to use: fair, private and free.
The free app keeps your diary on your phone, so it costs me very little to run, and that's why it can stay free. Mealith Plus is for people who want an encrypted backup on my servers. Servers cost money, so that part is paid, and it's what keeps the lights on.
